Shipping Policy
MiniLegend sells specialty mini replica vehicles that are often built to order. That means shipping and delivery are tied to design approval, parts availability, production, and freight scheduling. This Shipping Policy explains how we quote ship dates, how we handle delays, and what you should do when your order arrives.
1. When an order is ready to enter production
An order is considered ready for production when we have all of the following:
- Your approval of the selected model, powertrain, color, and major options.
- Any files or references needed for custom paint, livery, or branding.
- The required deposit or payment for the order.
- A confirmed delivery address and contact information.
If any of that information is missing, estimated production or ship windows do not start yet.
2. Estimated build and shipment windows
Unless a written quote says otherwise, MiniLegend generally targets these windows:
- Ready-to-ship or standard-color inventory: about 1 to 2 weeks.
- Custom color or livery builds: about 3 to 5 weeks after the order is production-ready.
- Bulk or venue orders: timing is quoted case by case based on quantity and finish level.
Transit time is separate from build time. After a carrier picks up the order, domestic delivery may take several business days depending on destination, freight class, weather, and final-mile scheduling.
3. Shipping methods
MiniLegend may ship by parcel, freight, or another carrier selected for the size and destination of the order. Larger vehicles, bulk orders, and venue orders are typically delivered by freight service. Unless a written quote states otherwise, freight delivery is curbside delivery and may require an adult signature.
If you need a liftgate, inside delivery, a timed appointment, or delivery to a location with unusual access restrictions, tell us before ordering so we can quote it correctly.
4. Shipping charges
Many US orders at or above our advertised threshold qualify for standard shipping included in the quoted price. Even when shipping is included, extra charges may still apply for:
- Remote or limited-access delivery areas.
- Liftgate or special handling service.
- Expedited production or expedited freight.
- International shipping, customs duties, taxes, import fees, or brokerage costs.
International buyers are responsible for destination-country duties, VAT, taxes, customs clearance requirements, and similar import charges unless a written quote expressly says those costs are included.
5. Address changes and delivery scheduling
You must provide accurate delivery information. If you need to change the shipping address after production begins or after the carrier has been booked, added fees and timing changes may apply. If the carrier cannot complete delivery because the address, contact details, or access instructions are incorrect, you are responsible for re-delivery, storage, and similar carrier fees.
6. Shipment delays and your options
We aim to quote shipment timing honestly and only when we have a reasonable basis to believe we can meet it. If we learn that we cannot ship within the time stated in your quote, confirmation, or product listing, we will send you an updated notice and explain your options. If applicable law requires that we obtain your consent to a revised ship date or provide a prompt refund for unshipped merchandise, we will follow that process.
If no shipment window was clearly stated, we will handle the order consistent with applicable law for internet orders. In practical terms, that means we will not simply go silent on a delayed order.
7. Delivery inspection and damage reporting
Please inspect the shipment promptly when it arrives. If the packaging or product appears damaged, do the following:
- Note visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing, if the carrier allows it.
- Take clear photos of the carton, pallet, packaging, and product.
- Email sales@miniledgend.com as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery.
Do not discard packaging until the claim is reviewed. Failure to document damage promptly may limit the remedies available through the carrier or insurance process.
8. Risk of loss and title
Risk of loss passes as permitted by applicable law and the shipment terms in your invoice or quote. That said, if your order arrives damaged or materially incomplete, contact us right away so we can work the claim and determine the appropriate remedy.
9. Partial shipments and accessories
From time to time, accessories, replacement parts, or paperwork may ship separately from the main vehicle. If a shipment is split, we will let you know when practical.
