Refunds and Returns
MiniLegend specializes in made-to-order and custom-built mini replica vehicles. Because many of our products are built specifically for each customer, return eligibility depends on the type of product and the stage of production.
We aim to be fair, transparent, and compliant with applicable consumer protection laws.
1. Order Types & Eligibility
Custom / Made-to-Order Vehicles
Most MiniLegend vehicles are built to order and may include custom paint, livery, or specifications.
- Orders that have entered production are non-returnable and non-refundable
- Deposits used to reserve production are non-refundable once production begins
- This is because custom-built items cannot be resold as standard inventory
If you need to cancel, contact us before production starts
Ready-to-Ship (Non-Custom) Items
For eligible non-custom products:
- Return window: 14 days from delivery
- Item must be:
- unused
- unassembled
- in original packaging
- Items that have been used, assembled, or modified are not eligible
2. Returns & Costs
- Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by law
- A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to non-defective returns
- How to Process a Return

​Once received and inspected (within 3 business days), your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Include:
- photos
- order number
- description of issue
We will resolve the issue by:
- sending replacement parts
- repairing the product
- replacing the item
- or issuing a partial/full refund when appropriate
4. Order Delays Before Shipment
If your order cannot be shipped within the estimated timeframe:
- we will notify you with an updated timeline
- you may request cancellation and refund before shipment, where applicable
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return:
- custom-built or personalized products after production starts
- used or assembled items
- products damaged due to misuse, improper charging, or modifications
- special-order parts or accessories
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Processing time: 3–5 business days
- Banks/payment providers may take additional time to post funds
7. Chargebacks
If there is an issue, please contact us first.
Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution, especially for custom or freight-related orders.
